A very simple and beautiful look of bright, clean greys.

This minimalist wool sleeveless dress can be an absolute wardrobe staple. Layer a thin breton stripe shirt or fitted long sleeve t-shirt underneath, or try a jacket or cardigan over top – both if it’s cold! This grey and white Intarsia cardigan by Mina Perhonen is made in Japan and absolutely stunning. We have included a number of views so you can get an idea of just how special it is – and while light and bright in feel, this outfit is winter appropriate, made of wool.

Made in Japan, Chausser crafts beautiful, beautiful footwear. If you look closely, the attention to detail in design and construction are completely impressive. You just don’t see boots like this elsewhere. Each style here is unique, serving a different form and function. Really, it will be hard not to buy one of each.

Chausser Black moto boot

This is really a chelsea boot in disguise, as there are hidden elastic panels on either side, that allow you to simply slip them on, with the help of a shoe horn. This is also the only style that already has vibram rubber soles – saving you a visit to the cobbler.

Stunning. These look great over skinny jeans, or with a casual dress. I’m already thinking about how great these will look with some of the Antipast hosiery!

We are super excited to welcome back Chausser shoes! They are all made in Japan, and two of the styles are completely convertible into other styles. There are pictures of the transformations below, so take a look and we hope to see you soon!

Looking for some Fall outfit inspiration? With cooler weather come great opportunities for layering! We’ve got knits from Roberto Collina in neutral colours, some with a hint of metallic to add a little sparkle to any outfit. Here the 3/4 sleeve knit jacket is layered over a Mercy Liberty print top (see above) and dress (see below).

Finally, accessories are best not overlooked! They really complete an outfit and give a place for the eye to rest. I’m constantly surprised how the complex and colourful Iosselliani pieces look so right with everything from a floral printed blouse to a graphic t-shirt.

We are very excited to be introducing Chausser footwear from Japan to the shop. We have 3 styles in-store: a black oxford with removable (!) fringe, a brown ankle boot with curved upper (great worn with casual dresses or jeans) and patent loafers in both ivory and navy, which are just plain cool.
