Molli began in Switzerland in 1886 designing ladies’ undergarments and hosiery.
All knit stitches are original to the brand, with their famous baby garter stitch debuting in the 1950s when they started creating the “Hermes of babywear”.
In 2015, Charlotte de Fayet acquired the brand and relaunched it in Paris, adding women’s ready to wear to the famous baby collection. The emotional attachment women felt for Molli baby knits was now available for them.
Using long strand new merino wool yarn yields hardwearing, simple tops, skirts and pants. For summer, Egyptian cotton is also used, creating a fine, cool hand.
