New Arrivals : La Botte Gardiane Boots
After eager anticipation, we are happy to announce the arrival of this season’s boots from La Botte Gardiane!
We have three styles in store now: a tall black boot in soft leather, a cropped boot in brown, and a tall riding boot in the hottest colour for Fall – burgundy. Our boots quickly sold out last year so hurry in!

Short Stories : Gloves by DENTS
Dents was established by John Dent in 1777. Today the gloves are still handmade with the finest quality leather in Warminster, England. For each glove, the leather is hand stretched and bench cut before being assembled. It can take up to 8 hours to make a single pair of gloves.
And did you know? Dents made Queen Elizabeth II’s gloves for her coronation in 1953.
They have also made gloves for many film characters including Batman and most recently James Bond.
We currently carry four styles from the Dents Heritage Collection: a leather palm, crochet back driving glove; deerskin gloves with silk lining, in a berry red, and a tobacco brown; plain nappa fur-lined gloves in cognac brown, and black; and peccary gloves with contrast turquoise Scottish cashmere lining.
Peccary is the most luxurious gloving leather. Dents sources it from wild boar in South America. The leather is very difficult to cut as well as difficult to sew. Since they require a skilled and experienced master glove maker, these exceptional gloves are very rare.
Each style is available in four sizes: 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8.

MERCY : Wool Shirtdresses and Tops
These MERCY shirt dresses and tops are made with a beautiful Liberty of London wool print. The whimsical print is a must-see in person. It is a floral available in both dark blue and pink, with dragonflies, butterflies, and even tiny elephants.

New Arrival : Scarves by Inouitoosh
We are happy to be introducing the Inouitoosh scarf line from Paris. And just in time for this cooler weather!
Each scarf is made of either a soft Cashmere and wool, silk and wool blend, or a thicker boiled wool ($160-$195)
They make a great gift and come packaged in an envelope made from recycled Indian newspaper by an NGO whose main objective is to provide education and shelter to street children.
Introducing : Chausser
We are very excited to be introducing Chausser footwear from Japan to the shop. We have 3 styles in-store: a black oxford with removable (!) fringe, a brown ankle boot with curved upper (great worn with casual dresses or jeans) and patent loafers in both ivory and navy, which are just plain cool. Any of these would make a great addition to your footwear wardrobe this Fall.

FW 2012 Mercy : September
We have now received our first delivery of the Fall 2012 collection from Mercy.
Earlier this summer I visited the studio and took some photographs of samples. Now in store, we have beautiful light wool shirt dresses, tops, and button down shirts (in a variety of colours and prints), as well as quilted cotton Liberty dresses (cap sleeve and 1/2 sleeve) and stunning high-waisted skirts in abstract inky blue florals as well as grey-green.
